Turkish businessmen return from Georgia

Gürcistan ile Rusya arasında devam eden savaştan kaçan Türk işadamları Türkiye'ye geldi. Türk Hava Yolları'nın (THY) tarifeli uçağıyla saat 20.10'da Bakü üzerinden İstanbul'a gelen işadamları Gürcistan'daki durumun iç acıtıcı olduğunu söyledi. Savaş Durdu isimli Türk iş adamı zengin olan insanların ülkeyi terk ettiğini durumu iyi olmayanların ise dağ köylerine çıktığını söyledi.

Turkish businessmen that have fled from the continuing war between Georgia and Russia have come to Turkey. Businessmen that came to Istanbul by Turkish Airways' scheduled plane at 8:10 pm via Baku (the capital of Azerbaijan) said that the situation inside Georgia is a painful one. A Turkish businessman named Savaş Durdu said that people with money left the country while those not so well off left for villages in the mountains.

Durdu reported that the economy in Georgia had completely stopped, saying that "We waited until the last hour last evening and did what the writing from the embassy said. It said that the most appropriate way would be Baku. I'm a surveyor; the economy there has stopped."Durdu mentioned that some businessmen had remained inside the border due to visa reasons in Azerbaijan, saying that "We came via Baku but there's something unusual; some of my friends stayed in Azerbaijan because they didn't have visas. We think they'll come back if things are put in order."
