Another way to visualize large numbers is through this site called the MegaPenny project, which shows exactly how large a certain number of pennies would look, from one to one quintillion. The number of stars in the universe for example is estimated to be around 400 billion times 400 billion (400 billion galaxies with about that number of stars in each one), so imagine this number of pennies (almost the height of Mt. Everest) multiplied by about 16 000, where each penny is a single star.
