Swedish Pirate Party wins a seat in the European Parliament

That's right, the Pirate Party (Piratpartiet) won a seat in the European Parliament with 7.1% of the vote (the minimum threshold for a seat is 4%), or about 200,000 votes. All of a sudden the European election isn't so dry and boring, is it?
