Devoicing and other particularities of Uzbek pronunciation

Here's a small bit from a textbook of mine that might be interesting to some. These "rules" are quite easy to remember and the devoicing of consonants at the end of a word is quite common to many languages.
1) b, v, g and d are devoiced and pronounced as p, f, k, and t at the end of a word.
maktab --> maktap, Ahmedov --> Ahmedof, barg --> bark, ozod --> ozot
2) f in the middle or at the end of a word is pronounced as p.
daftar --> daptar, sadaf --> sadap
3) z is devoiced and pronounced as s at the end of a word.
boramiz --> boramis, dengiz --> dengis
4) When t appears at the end of a word after a consonant, it is hardly pronounced.
do'st --> do's, past --> pas, daraxt --> darax
