Two elementary schools in Maryland (right next to Washington) to combine and add Latin to the curriculum
Wednesday, February 17, 2010
The reason why these schools are combining isn't to provide Latin courses, but that will be one of the end results. The current student population of these two schools is 266 and 258 students, and then after combining into one both French and Latin will be added to the current curriculum which only has Spanish as a foreign language.
Here's a map showing the distance from Hyattsville to Silver Spring, and that they're pretty much a part of Washington.
