Pabucumun satanisti! - Turkish comedian Engin Günaydın's character Burhan Altıntop from Avrupa Yakası with transcription

Nice! Today on Turkishclass.com one of the users named mltm wrote up a quick transcription of a video that we were talking about. It's a show called Avrupa Yakası that is extremely popular, and the best character is a guy called Burhan Altıntop, played by a comedian named Engin Günaydın.

The thing about him though is that he's really hard to understand. My experience with Turkish has been almost exclusively with news and other sources of information, very little comedy. Adding to that the fact that the character is from Tokat which has a dialect, he's not the easiest character in the world to understand.

At the very end before...well, before something happens (I don't want to give it away) he keeps saying pabucumun satanisti! which literally means satanist/wicked man of my shoe. I hate being called that.

Here's another video with him (not as the same character though) that's much easier to understand, but it's not safe for work. Nothing racy, just a few English words you wouldn't want to be echoing through the office. It's kind of a "WTF is this?" kind of humour but it's surprisingly good for those studying Turkish.
