Looks like a good idea to me:

Brazilian citizens can now travel to other Lusophone states on short-stay visas, with a less bureaucratic process, under an accord ratified by Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

The short-say visas are intended for transit stopovers, tourism and business trips and require proof of return ticket purchase, sufficient cash to support the applicant’s visit and relevant vaccination certificates.
