Spoken news article in classical Latin on the war in South Ossetia and Georgia
Saturday, August 16, 2008
Georgia (Georgice: საქართველო) est civitas in Caucaso/Europa.
Here's another article from Ephemeris, the online Latin newspaper that recently has quite a few spoken news articles as well. It's from the 9th of August so it's not current news anymore, but it's news in Latin on a situation going on now which is a more interesting way to study the language for some than always reading ancient texts.
Here's the first paragraph:
Ipse simul negavit in Ossetia meridionali MD homines interiisse, adfirmans perpaucos cives occisos esse; finem denique proeliis imponi proposuit copiasque recedere.
