Pictures of modern Saint Petersburg combined with Leningrad during WWII

There's a blog post here in Russian with some pretty interesting pictures of the city of Saint Petersburg back during World War II when it was known as Leningrad, using the exact same locations. For example, one picture shows an image of people standing at a streetlight looking bored as they wait for it to change, and then fades into black & white from the same location over 60 years ago with a man in a trenchcoat standing over a few dead bodies in the street, killed by who knows what.
A lot of the images have barrage balloons. Very interesting, so be sure to take a look at them. You don't need to know Russian to understand what they're about.
