Thank you Kaguya! /
Friday, June 05, 2009
Thanks to Japan's Kaguya probe we now have this video of the Moon taken from only 21-22 km above the surface, which is only twice the altitude of a regular passenger jet. This video was released just two days ago and shows a crater called Antoniadi on the far side of the Moon, which has a diameter of 143 km and a depth of 9 km.
