More on the bigness of the Moon

Let's take another example of the bigness of the Moon.


That's the Daedalus Crater on the far side of the Moon, a proposed location for a radio telescope. The size of this crater alone: 93 km in diameter, 3 km depth. That gives a total area of 6792 km², thus one Luxembourg plus one more Luxembourg, plus one more half Luxembourg could fit into this one crater. Or a third of Slovenia. Not bad for a single crater.
