Rosetta now just 9 hours and 900,000 km away from 21 Lutetia

In just a few hours Rosetta will finally fly by the large asteroid 21 Lutetia and we will see it up close for the first time. The Rosetta blog has been busy with updates, and this is the first photo from 2 million km away:
It is now already twice as close, and the exact distance from the asteroid can be seen on this page. Distance now is 877,867 km and closing in at a relative velocity of 53,983 kph, or 15 km/s. That's similar to what one finds with a near-Earth asteroid flyby.
