Azerbaycan'ın Gürcistan'ın Kulevi ve Batum limanlarına petrol ihracatını askıya aldığı bildirildi.

Azerbaijan has temporarily suspended oil exports to the Georgian ports of Kulevi and Batumi.

Azerbaycan Devlet Petrol Şirketi (SOCAR) ve Petkim'in Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Rövnag Abdullayev, devlet televizyonuna açıklamada bulunurken, ayrılıkçı Güney Osetya'daki çatışmalar üzerine, dün petrol ihracatının askıya alınmasına karar verildiğini belirtti.

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and the head of Petkim's board of directors Rövnag Abdullayev made a statement on state television that due to the conflicts in the separatist South Ossetia region, that they had made the decision to temporarily halt petrol exports the day before.

Abdullayev, Bakü-Novorosisk (Rusya) petrol hattından ihracat konusunu değerlendireceklerini, ancak bu hattın kapasitesinin oldukça düşük olduğunu kaydetti.

Abdullayev said that they would evaluate the subject of exporting from the Baku-Novorosisk (Russia) pipeline, but that this pipeline's capacity was quite low.
