New browser from Google: Google Chrome / Google'dan yeni bir internet tarayıcısını bugün piyasaya sürüyor

Well, this is exciting. I didn't hear about this browser until today and already I can't wait to have it. There seems to be an hour or more left until it's available to download so in the meantime I'll translate this article in Turkish on the new browser. There are quite a few articles online on the new browser already in Turkish as well. This one is from BBC Turkish.

There are already Wikipedia pages in 23 languages on the browser. No Turkish yet though. -_-

Google, Internet Explorer ve Firefox'a rakip bedava bir internet tarayıcısını bugün piyasaya sürüyor.

Today Google is putting a free internet browser on the market to compete with Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Yeni tarayıcını adı Chrome.

The name of the new browser is Chrome.

Tarayıcının, grafik ve multimedya ağırlıklı yeni kuşak siteleri en hızlı şekilde ekrana getirmek üzere tasarlandığı belirtiliyor.

The browser is apparently envisioned to take new generational sites heavy on graphics and multimedia to the screen at the fastest speed.

Chrome adı verilen tarayıcı, deneme aşamasında 100 ülkede Windows yüklü bilgisayarlarda kullanılabilecek.

The browser, named Chrome, will be able to be used on computers using Windows in 100 countries as a test version.

Bunu Mac ve Linux versiyonları izleyecek.

Mac and Linux versions will follow this.

Google yöneticilerinden Sundar Pichai, web güncesinde bu konuda "Tarayıcıyı sıfırdan tasarlamamız gerektiğini anladık" diyor.

Sundar Pichai, one of the managers at Google, wrote in his weblog that "we understood that we needed to envision a browser completely from scratch."

Yeni tarayıcı, Google'a kendi hazırlamakta olduğu Picasa ya da Haritalar gibi gelişkin internet programlarını kullandırma fırsatı da verecek.

The new browser will also give the opportunity to Google to have people use developed internet programs like Picasa and Google Maps that Google has prepared.
