İran Milli Doğalgaz İhracatı Şirketi Genel Müdürü Rıza Kesaizade, doğalgazın Avrupa pazarına ulaştırılmasında Türkiye'nin kilit ülke konumunda olduğunu söyledi.

The Director General of the Iranian Natural Gas Export Company Riza Kesaizade said that Turkey was a key country for transporting natural gas to the European market.

Kesaizade, 2025'e kadar dünya doğalgaz ihtiyacının yüzde 10'unu karşılayabilecek duruma geleceklerini söyledi.

Kesaizade said that they would reach a point where they would be able to meet ten percent of the world's natural gas needs by 2025.

İran'a yönelik ambargoların doğalgaz sektöründe olumsuz etkileri olduğunu belirten Kesaizade, tüm engellere rağmen doğal gazda ihtiyaç duyulan ülke olduklarını kaydetti.

Kesaizade mentioned that the embargoes towards Iran had a negative effect on the natural gas sector, and that in spite of all obstacles the country would be necessary for natural gas needs.

Kesaizade, batılı büyük şirketlerin İran'daki doğalgaz sektörüne yatırımları askıya aldığını ancak buna rağmen büyük projeleri hayata geçireceklerini belirtti.

Kesaizade asserted that large western companies had temporarily suspended investment in the natural gas sector in Iran, but in spite of that large projects would be able to come into being.

İran doğalgazını Avrupa pazarına sunacak projeyi 2014'e kadar hayata geçirmeyi hedeflediklerini ifade eden Kesaizade, "Doğalgazımızı Yunanistan, İtalya ve diğer Avrupa ülkelerine ulaştırmada Türkiye kilit transit ülke konumunda" ifadesini kullandı.

Kesaizade mentioned that they were aiming for 2014 as the date to provide Iranian natural gas to the European market, saying that "Turkey is a key transit country in transporting our natural gas to Greece, Italy and other European countries."

Türkiye'ye yılda yaklaşık 10 milyar metreküp doğalgaz ihraç ettiklerini belirten Kesaizade, üretim arttığı için bu kış bir sorun yaşanmayacağını sözlerine ekledi.

Kesaizade said that they exported about 10 billion cubic metres of natural gas annually to Turkey, and that this winter would not present a problem as production had increased.
