In case you missed it, last night's episode of the Daily Show was positively brutal towards Wall Street companies receiving bailouts, those opposed to homeowners receiving government funding to avoid foreclosures, CNBC as a business news network, and the idea of the Dow as a potent economic indicator. Rick Santelli was invited on as the guest, he accepted but cancelled later on, and in his place New York Times journalist Joe Nocera made an appearance to talk about the financial bailouts. The interview is a must-watch as it explains the situation better than just about any other short segment of tv could. Here they are:
