Barack Obama greets Turkish soldiers: "Merhaba asker"

Here's Barack Obama with Turkish president Abdullah Gül at a ceremony where they listen to their respective anthems and greet the troops. Now you know what happens when you say that to the troops in Turkey. The greeting comes at about 3:05 into the video.



There's an article here but it really isn't interesting enough to translate as it just describes the ceremony. The video is more interesting, especially the repetition of Barack Hussein Obama, since in Turkey the name Hussein is about as exotic as a name like Jack.
